Kids age 4-6
This February Break Cooking Mini Camp is designed for mini hands with mini chefs in mind! Kids will welcome each other with circle time and introduce friends to their favorite home comfort toy. Toys will then wait for us at the lunch table as we move onto our next activity. We'll explore books that focus on food-themed characters or plots and use them as inspriation in our cooking class. Each day kids will work on two recipes - one from scratch and one craft style recipe to enoy!
We will also have movement time (go noodle, just dance, yoga,e tc) and art time built into the day.
Monday: Apple Donuts with Greek yogurt Icing
Baked Fruit filled toaster patries made with homemade dough from scratch
Tuesday: Cinnamon Toast with homemade butter (yes the kids will make the butter!)
Mini Fruit muffins
Wednesday: Banana Breakfast "Sushi" with jam, toppings and rice paper wrapper
Mini Egg and cheese quiche
Thursday: Fruit salad, yummy yummy!
Homemade Baked Donuts!
Friday: Breakfast Cookie "painting" - kids will get a healthy banana breakfast cookie to "paint" with superfood based food color turned into paint
Bagel Smily Face Pizzas
Book one day or a whole week.
