Each day is a new culinary adventure. Kids will make their own Breakfast, Lunch and Snack completely from scratch (no need to bring anything!)! But cooking is only part of the fun, We'll play board games, trivia games, dancing competitions and sing karaoke, all while making new friends!!
We are celebrating all things Disney this week! We'll break down recipes from some of our favorite movies like Gumbo from Princess and the Frog, Arepas from Encanto, Pasta Pesto from, Apple pie from Snow White and many more. Each day, kid chefs will make their own Disney themed breakfast, lunch and snacks and in between we'll have Disney trivia, sing alongs, crafts and more!
Students will learn basic baking skills in this fun and informative session for aspiring bakers. We'll learn the science behind baking and munch on the sweet and savory results. Not only will chefs discover how to make delicious cookies, pies, cakes, and breads, we'll tackle more demanding creations such as eclairs, soufflés and crème brulee.
Four days of pasta making! Kids will learn to make dough from scratch, roll out and cut pasta by hand, and make spaghetti, fettuccini, ravioli, gnocchi and more! Kids will even learn the art of multi-colored and multi-flavored pasta including spinach fettuccini, whole wheat spaghetti, polka dot farfalle, shaped stuffed pastas, rigatoni, penne....it's pastapalooza!
Every day of this week we focus on a different global culinary cuisine. We will explore French cooking techniques and make galette, croissants, tartine and more. Work on Italian stuffed pastas, make sushi and dumplings and more!
Put your cooking and baking skills to the test this week in our Nailed It challenge kitchen! Each day kids will create delicious and eye appealing baked treats from anti gravity cakes to sculpted fondant topped cupcakes. Culinary pros will be on hand to help out, guiding the baking and decorating process so every camper will be sure to Nail It and avoid dessert disaster!
If food trucks are your thing, you'll love this creative and inspired culinary camp! We will cover it all from lobster rolls to stuffed sandwiches, tacos and deep fried carnival foods. Kids will design and create their own food truck and design the menu too!
The perfect five day experience for those that love (or wish to learn) the ‘best of’ classic French Pastries. Young chefs will enjoy creating the delights you can find adorning the windows of Paris Pastry boutiques. From the tempting éclair to those delicious filled Choux, savory Gougères, and of course Classic French Tartes.
This is the week we turn the kitchen into a science lab!! We will conduct food experiments, create our own galaxy gourmet menu and have fun with candy making, baking, edible slime, magic milk, growing lettuce, making rock candy and more!
Campers will be completely immersed in the world's culinary culture this week! We will be cooking up some of the fabulous flavors of the countries in Eastern Europe, Asia, Africa, Europe and South America. We'll learn about some of the cooking techniques & ingredients that make their culture unique, learn some of the country's language and even talk via skype to locals living there! Come join us as we expand our world and our palates!
Campers will be learning different cooking techniques with meat and fish, amuse bouche, sauces, soups, and desserts. Then they will put them to the test in a daily Top Chef Jr challenge with daily themes! Monday will be cupcake wars! Tuesday Mystery Basket Around the World Competition ! Wednesday Cake Challenge! Thursday Mystery Basket Impossible! Friday Bake off and basket challenge!
It's all about the mystery basket at Chopped! Each day, after breakfast, campers will be introduced to their day's mystery basket. We'll spend time getting to know the ingredients and talking about cooking technique as well as the different cuisines the ingredients are used in. Then, it's up to them to make a meal! They will challenge themselves to make a specialty dish using their new ingredients.
